Hello Everyone I'm Still Alive !
Well everyone I am truely sorry that its been so long since I have taken any time to post anything here although I have tried to at least keep an eye on all of you. This summer so far has been such a busy one with work and play it seems as though there are never ever enough hours in the day as you all know. I have lots and lots of pictures and have had some adventures so far this summer so i will start with a few pictures of a stop for a few days at the small town where I grew up.
Welcome to Redfiled Iowa. Redfield is located about 40 miles west of Des Moines and is probably the closest example of "podunk" that I can think of, however it is the location of some of my most vivid and fond memories .

This one of the coolest places in town to me. This is a dam on the raccon river at the west end of town. It actually provided electricity to redsidnce many years ago so Im told. Ive spent many hours here fishing and hanging out over the years and even now when I return find a calmness inside me listening to the waters turn that I havent felt in a long time. I guess it must be one of my "happy places".

Another spot along the river at the other end of town is a place called Hanging Rock. It is kind of a natural oddity to this particular area of river and is known for its sandstone walls along the river. This area was the spot of many a keg and lost virginity over the years.

This is my cousin Alissa enjoying the view at Hanging Rock. She recently hitched a ride back home to Colorado from Missouri with me. The trip through home was great and I plan on returning very soon. I have more to write but time is short and just wanted to check in !!
